LET’S GO DEEPER:
1. Jesus uses the phrase ‘I Am” in John 8:58, which is so central to the revelation of God’s glory in Exodus 3. What should we conclude from this about the revelation of Jesus Christ to the God of the Old Testament?

2. What does the appearance of God to Moses tells us about the way God carries out his purposes and plans? Do you believe in coincidences?

3. What parallels can you find between the experience of Moses’ call and commission in Exodus 3 and that of Jesus at his baptism in Matt 3:13-17. What can we learn from these passages about the way(s) God calls people into his service?
