Praying for All People 1 Timothy 2:1-8
In Prayer…
1. Pray for
v. 1 – be made for all people
2. Pray for
v. 2 – for kings and all who are in high positions
Pray they will not
v. 2 – that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified
3. Pray because it is
v. 3 – This is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior
4. Pray in
v. 5 – there is one mediator between God & man – Christ Jesus
5. Pray in
v. 8 – lifting up holy hands without anger or quarreling
I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made
Pray with
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous person availeth much. James 5:16
Pray with
You do not have because you do not ask. James 4:2; Matthew 7:7-11
Pray with
When he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. Luke 10:31
Pray with
By prayer…with thanksgiving present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6
