Jesus' Going Away Gift | John 14:26-31

Communion Moment:

Scripture:

“The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes. The Lord has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad.” Psalm 118:22-24 NIV
Prompt: On Palm Sunday we remember Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem as a king. What parts of your life do you need to make Jesus king over? Pray for that now.”

“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So, don’t be troubled or afraid.” John 14:27 NLT

“But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is the Holy Spirit—He will teach you everything and remind you of everything I have told you.” John 14:26 NLT

“Remember, what I told you: I’m going away, but I will come back to you again. If you really loved Me, you would be happy that I am going to the Father, who is greater than I am.” John 14:28 NLT

“I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in Me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.” John 14:12 NLT

The Holy Spirit wants to to look more like Jesus and He wants to into Jesus’ Kingdom work.
