Hebrews 12:14(NKJV), “Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will
see the Lord.”

1 Peter 1:13-16(NKJV)“ 13  Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14  as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; 15  but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, 16  because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”

2 Timothy 1:9 (NLT) 9  For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus.

Highway of Holiness
Isaiah 35:8-10 (NKJV) 8  A highway shall be there, and a road, And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, But it shall be for others.
Whoever walks the road, although a fool, Shall not go astray. 9  No lion shall be there, Nor shall any ravenous beast go up on it; It shall not be found there. But the redeemed shall walk there, 10  And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, And come to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, And sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

*Isaiah 35:8(NIV) 8  And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness; it will be for those who walk on that Way. The unclean will not journey on it; wicked fools will not go about on it.

The Highway of Holiness is a place of safety.
Vs 9  No lion shall be there, Nor shall any ravenous beast go up on it; It shall not be found there. But the redeemed shall walk there,

Psalm 91:1-4(NKJV) He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2  I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” 3  Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. 4  He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall
be your shield and buckler.

The Highway of Holiness is a place of Joy.

Psalm 16:11(NKJV) 11  You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. But we don’t have to wait for the Millenia to have joy, we can have that joy right now!

Romans 14:17(KJV) 17  For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

1 Thessalonians 1:6 (KJV) 6  And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the
word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost.

Romans 6:19-23 (NKJV)
19  I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness. 20  For when you were slaves
of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness.  21  What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.  22  But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end,
everlasting life. 23  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 6:19-22 (NLT)
19  Because of the weakness of your human nature, I am using the illustration of slavery to help you understand all this. Previously, you let yourselves be slaves to impurity and lawlessness, which led ever deeper into sin. Now you must give yourselves to be slaves to righteous living so that you will become holy. 20  When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the obligation to do right.  21  And what was the result? You are now ashamed of the things you used to do, things that end in eternal doom.  22  But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life. 23  For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our
