BACKGROUND TO THE PARABLE:
 Most well known Luken story in scripture.
 This is a contrast on “religion” vs RELATIONSHIP.
 As followers of Christ; do we love our ‘neighbors’ like we love Christ?
 “a man” – likely to be a Jew; but we are not told. It is assumed.
