Zechariah’s Introduction (Zech. 1:1-6)
The 5th Vision (Zech. 4:1-10)
Messianic Prophecies:
1. The meek Messiah would ride into Jerusalem on a donkey
(Zech. 9:9, Matt. 21:1-9, John 18:10, 36)
2. The princely price of the Messiah would be 30 pieces of silver.
(Zech. 11:10-13, Matt. 27:1-10)
3. The cost of salvation would be the piercing wounds of His friends.
(Zech. 12:10, John 19:34-37, Zech. 13:6, John 15:13)
This We Know:
1. Jesus is coming back to judge the living and the dead.
(2 Tim. 4:1, Romans 12:19)
2.Jesus’ kingdom has begun, but is not yet fulfilled.
(Col. 1:13, 1 Cor. 15:23-26)
3. Jesus is going to remake creation, destroying both sin and death in the process. (2 Peter 3:10-13. Romans 8:20-23)
4. Our future with Jesus is a GOOD future!
(1 Cor. 15:50-58, 1 Peter 1:13)
