Recap: An interruption can be a person, an opportunity, or an appointment.
“What if you stopped assuming the people in your day are there by random accident?”
God may need to do something in you before he can do something through you.

Prayer Challenge: Would you pray this prayer every day?
God, our heavenly Father, thank you for being with us today.
We know that you may need to do something in us before you do something through us. We give you our hearts today.
Help us to see people as Jesus saw people.
We want to stop assuming that the people in our day are there by random accident.
Put me in close proximity to one person who needs you today. Place people in my heart.
May your Holy Spirit grant us wisdom, compassion, courage, and discernment.
Help us to be like you, changing the world, one at a time.
In Jesus’ name, amen.

Recap week 1. Did you view interruptions any differently? Any stories or lessons to share?
What is your capacity for helping people in crisis? How long could you do it before you crashed?
Read Mark 1:35-39. What do we learn about Jesus divinity here (fully God and fully human)?
How would you have reacted to the disciples interrupting your solitude and prayer?
Why does Jesus’ response surprise them?
Review the outline regarding prayer. Which of these things do you most need this week in prayer?
Can we make a commitment to say pray the “Prayer for one” prayer every day? Can we set our alarms now?
After praying for your group, lead the group in the prayer.
