USING THIS SERMON DISCUSSION GUIDE

We have provided all the Scriptures references in the sermon
and some discussion questions for you to use to discuss the weekend message.
This Sermon Discussion Guide is only a tool to aid you in meeting the needs of your group. For most groups, there are too many questions to answer in one session together. Give priority to the needs and pace of your group members.
While the questions are important, remember your group’s goal is to create an atmosphere that will foster true friendships. Use the discussion questions as you see fit but emphasize the relationships.

Playbook- A life of Worship-
Pastor Justin Garland March 28, 2021

Palm Sunday is all about who you will worship, and who you will praise!

Matthew 21:7-11 NLT
They brought the donkey and the colt to him and threw their garments over the colt, and he sat on it. Most of the crowd spread their garments on the road ahead of him, and others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.**Jesus was in the center of the procession, and the people all around him were shouting, “Praise God for the Son of David! Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Praise God in highest heaven!” 10 The entire city of Jerusalem was in an uproar as he entered. “Who is this?” they asked. - Worship=WORTH*
a. What you find value in, you will worship.

- You are the church and together we are the House of God

*Psalm 26:8 ESV-
O Lord, I love the habitation of your house and the place where your glory dwells.

*
*- WORSHIP: What it isn’t *
o Not entertainment.
o Not the warmup to the main event.
o Not the credits at the end.

** WORSHIP: What it is**
o Worship is an OUTWARD expression of an INWARD truth.
o Worship ushers in the presence of God.
o Worship Draws Him to us.

** Worship is from generation to generation.**

Psalm 102:18 NIV
Let this be written for a future generation, that a people not yet created may praise the Lord:

Psalm 145:3-4 ESV
Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.
One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.

Dead religion tends to silence us to our comfort level, but revelation, healing and restoration causes us to “get our song back”
