Questions for Reflection
• When you consider your code of conduct, what governs it? Is it driven by the behavior of those around you or by a Biblical standard?
• Why do you think it matters how God’s children live in the world? Does it make a difference if we willingly obligate ourselves to a higher standard?
• How do you understand the idea of “mutual submission to Christ”? Do you have a hang-up with the word “submit”? If so, why do you think that is?
• What governs your idea of marriage? Why do you think God wants us to view marriage as between one man and one woman?
