Matthew 16:13-17 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” “Well,” they replied, “some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others say Jeremiah or one of the other prophets.” Then He asked them, “But who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, “You are blessed, Simon son of John, because My Father in heaven has revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being.

Proverbs 30:4 Who but God goes up to heaven and comes back down? Who holds the wind in His fists?
Who wraps up the oceans in his cloak? Who has created the whole wide world? What is His name—and His son’s name? Tell me if you know!

Acts 19:13-15 A group of Jews was traveling from town to town casting out evil spirits. They tried to use the name of the Lord Jesus in their incantation, saying, “I command you in the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches, to come out!” Seven sons of Sceva, a leading priest, were doing this. But one time when they tried it, the evil spirit replied, “I know Jesus, and I know Paul, but who are you?”

John 16:23-24 …I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and He will grant your request because you use My name. You haven’t done this before. Ask, using My name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy.

James 5:16 (KJV) … The effectual fervent (energio) prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

  • My prayers become energetic when I “know” the name that’s been

to by the Father in Heaven.
