“Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” —Ephesians 6:11-12
“I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, 20 which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.” —Ephesians 1:16-21
“For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge-that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” —Ephesians 3:14-19
PRAYER- OUR SPIRTUAL UNDER ARMOR
“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. 19 Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should. —Ephesians 6:18-24
1. Let Him
“And pray in the Spirit…”
“Do not be drunk on wine which leads to debauchery… but be filled with the Spirit…” —Ephesians 5:18
“Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” —Galatians 5:25
“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will.” —Romans 8:26-27
2. Pray
“…on all occasions…”
“Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” —Colossians 3:1-2
3. Pray
“…with all kinds of prayers and requests…”
When we pray for the physical, the results are seen in the
realm of the Natural. When we pray for the spiritual,
the results are seen in the Eternal.

*“Keep on praying for all the saints…” *

“And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints”. —Revelations 5:8-9
“Our prayers do not end when we end…they end when God’s memory slips or He ceases to exist. Neither will ever happen. Therefore, our prayer has an eternal legacy.” —Pastor Phil
5. Pray for
“Pray also for me, so that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given so that I will fearlessly make know the mystery of the gospel… Pray that I may declare it fearlessly…” —Ephesians 6:19-20
“If God is the Source of Salvation (II Cor 5:18) and Jesus is the Author of Salvation (Heb 2:10) and the Holy Spirit is the Instigator of Salvation (John 6:44, Titus 3:5-7), then doesn’t it make sense to Pray for God to break into people’s lives?” —P. Phil
