
Resolve the believer to acknowledge and thank God for all HIS bountiful blessing and favor; revealing the amazing blessing that a life steeped in thanksgiving experiences, as heartfelt thanks toward God constructs an atmosphere of intimate exchange with heaven
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

Giving thanks is both expressing gratitude, and appreciating and acknowledging an action that brought joy, peace, provision or benefit into one’s life
What can cause us to forget
- Casualty – A person or thing badly affected by an event or situation [the object of casual, careless behavior]
When have I forgotten something important?
When have I forgotten to honor God?
Was I distracted, preoccupied, casual or a combination of the three?
Thanksgiving is the believer’s posture
Giving thanks to God is a prescribed method of
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.

David gives us the password to get through the gates
“With thanksgiving” [You shall] “enter His gates”
When we “enter His courts” there should be “praise” on our lips
When have I been faced with trouble, tears, disappointment or heart ache and had to put on thanks giving, worship and praise?
