THE HEART OF TRUE
THE PAUSE: 10 MINUTES WITH GOD
MONDAY | THE MIND OF THE LORD
*PASSAGE*: Romans 11:33-34
PAUSE: There are our thoughts and the Lord’s thoughts. The goal of our life is to transform our thoughts into the Lord’s thoughts. But we are in trouble if we focus on our thoughts rather than the Lord’s. Today, open our hearts to pursue YOU more than ourselves. Listen for His voice and seek to glorify Him first!
TUESDAY | THE TRANSFORMED LIFE
*PASSAGE*: Romans 12:1-2
PAUSE: Every Christian should memorize these two verses! For today’s PAUSE, we want everyone to learn these two verses in a translation you understand. Please read them, reflect upon them, and memorize them! Please write them on a 3 x 5 card. Share this verse with a family member or friend ASAP.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, allow me to offer myself to You as a living sacrifice. Transform my mind and my heart. I desire to live my life according to Your will.
WEDNESDAY | WHO DO YOU SEE?
*PASSAGE*: Romans 12:3
PAUSE: Do you have healthy self-esteem? Do you tend to think more of yourself than you should? Or do you have low self-esteem and shame yourself? In Christ, we have been blessed by God’s grace. Sober judgment refers to having a healthy perspective on who we are in Christ! See yourself in Christ!
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your grace. Forgive me for the times I think more of myself than I should. Please help me to be balanced in life.
THURSDAY | BE REAL
*PASSAGE*: Romans 12:9-10
PAUSE: A transformed life is a genuine life. We love others like Jesus. Paul tells us our love should be maskless. We need to have an authentic love for one another. The goal of a transformed life is to make others better by loving them.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, help my love for others to be genuine and real. Allow me to hold on to what is good about others and life.
FRIDAY | REJOICE IN HOPE
*PASSAGE*: Romans 12:12
PAUSE: We are one week out from Easter. Where is your heart? Are you hopeful or doubtful? Are you joyful or sad? Are you patient or hurried? The Apostle Paul encouraged us to rejoice in hope solely because of Christ. Christ is our Living Hope; He is our anchor! Let’s continue to rejoice in our hope.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I rejoice in hope. I am so thankful that I have a living hope because of the resurrection. Help me to remain constant in prayer.
