Keep Showing Up

Hebrews 12:1-2

“The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance.” —Psalm 16:6

Keep showing up.

“And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.” —Hebrews 12:2

“No greater love has any man than this than to lay down his life for his friends.” —John 15:13

“A dispute also arose among them as to which of them was considered to be greatest.” —Luke 22:24

“This very night you will all fall away on account of me…” —Matthew 26:31

“Peter replied, “Even if all fall away on account of you, I never will.”
“Truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.” But Peter declared, “Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you.” —Matthew 26:34-35

“Very truly I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.” Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. Then he said to him, “Follow me!” —John 21:18-19

“Peter turned and saw that the disciple whom Jesus loved was following them. When Peter saw him, he asked, “Lord, what about him?” What is that to you? You must follow me.” —John 21:20-22

It doesn’t matter what Jesus has planned for anyone else.
He asks you to follow Him.
