GLOW UP - BANNER.jpg

Extraordinary

God wants to do a total transformation in your life to help you glow up to be who He intended you to become. He will take you from common and ordinary to extraordinary.

18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. —2 Corinthians 3:18 (KJV - King James Version)

Have you ever felt like there has got to be more to life?

Life doesn’t usually go as planned.

6 Now there were six stone water jars there for the Jewish rites of purification, each holding twenty or thirty gallons. 7 Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. 8 And he said to them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the feast.” So they took it. 9 When the master of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and did not know where it came from (though the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom 10 and said to him, “Everyone serves the good wine first, and when people have drunk freely, then the poor wine. But you have kept the good wine until now.” —John 2:6-10 (ESV)

Keeping the BEST FOR LAST! - Jesus always has the BEST in mind for you!

The point is that Jesus took them and

them.

Jesus could TRANSFORM ordinary vessels into those fit for the Master’s use.

Life doesn’t usually go as planned.
It can grow very empty - even when we try to fill it to the brim.
We find ourselves wondering, “Is this what life is all about?”

Our lives are full, but they seem meaningless!
The fuel gage says full, but we are running on empty.

One Writer said…
We need to fear not death, but life – empty lives, loveless lives, lives that do not build upon the gifts that each of us have been given, lives that are like living deaths, lives which we never take the time to savor and appreciate. Today, just remind me that I am dying so that I can live, savor and love with all my heart.
~ Been in the Storm So Long, 1991 by The Rev Mark Morrison-Reed

If your life seems really ORDINARY, or maybe even disappointing right now…
I have good news for you - IN JESUS you will

UP!

It’s time for you to begin to hope and believe for something better. - A TOTAL TRANSFORMATION

Know that JESUS HAS THE BEST IN MIND FOR YOU!

Stop focusing on what you DON’T HAVE, and start focusing on Jesus ABILITY to make you NEW!

Our Bible says that after Jesus had the servants fill all the six stone water pots with water,
He commanded them to give some to the governor of the feast.
Draw it out. Let everyone see it.
Be emptied from vessel to vessel.
And the result?
The miraculous was seen by all.

The closer you get to JESUS…
Your life is getting better; you future grows brighter.
The Best YOU is yet to come!
Everyone is going to see it.

Your neighbors will see it.
Your family will see it.
Your friends will see it – and so will your enemies.

Funny Illustration:
A man from the deep in the mountains of Tennessee found himself one day in a large city, for the first time sitting outside an elevator. As he sat there, he watched as a feeble elderly woman hobbled on, and the doors closed. A few minutes later the doors opened and an attractive younger woman marched confidently past him. The father hollered to his youngest son, “Billy, go get mother.”

It’s the best! A total transformation…
The best wine last!

God used common items in the Bible for His glory, so imagine what He can do with your life.
God often uses simple, ordinary objects to accomplish his tasks in the world.
They just need to be dedicated to him for his use.
Here are some everyday objects from Bible times and how God used them.

EXTRAORDINARY.jpg

Chart of Common Objects used Extraordinarily by God

God is looking for obedient, submitted people, willing to entrust Him with everything they have and everything they are.
He wants us to surrender the ORDINARY of our lives to Him.

God is not looking at how ordinary it is right now.
He’s looking at what He can do through you and what He can make of your life.
You are simply an instrument and vessel of His supernatural power and ability.
He is looking for surrendered Ordinary, that He can make EXTRAORDINARY!

In Exodus 4:2, God asks Moses the same question I believe He’s asking us today:
“What is that in your hand?”
All Moses had in his hand at that point was a simple wooden shepherd’s rod—certainly nothing extraordinary.

When you look at what you have in your hand, it might seem as insignificant as the piece of wood Moses had been using to care for his sheep.

How could God use something so ordinary?

Endued with God’s supernatural power,
Moses’ rod now was able to part the Red Sea (Exodus 14:21),
bring water out of a rock (Exodus 17:5-6),
and gain supernatural victory over enemy armies (Exodus 17:8-13).

What is in your ability to give God of your life?
Your ambitions, your goals, your time, your energy, your children, your career, your resources…
He’s not asking for something you don’t have -
He wants to make your “ORDINARY” - Extraordinary…

If you are tired of living in the ORDINARY,
I came to tell you that the BEST YOU is YET TO COME!!
With Jesus you will GLOW UP in to EXTRAORDINARY!

The key to a transformed life: it is the blood of Jesus Christ.

You should start today by surrendering yourself completely to God.
Ask forgiveness and determine to move forward toward the future God has for you!

After that surrender, you need to be Baptized in the Name of Jesus and have His blood applied to your life!
His blood along with His Spirit will transform you into the extraordinary person He has planned for you!

He promises to fill you with His Spirit and power,
and when you receive His Spirit, you and everyone around you will see…
the ordinary has become extraordinary!

WITH JESUS - The Best YOU is Yet To Come!
Isn’t it time for you to GLOW UP into extraordinary?!
