Jesus Prays for All Believers
“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.

John 17:20-23
I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one — I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

Acts 4:32-33
All the believers were one in heart and mind.
With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all!!!!

Great power comes on the church when we are unified in One Direction!

One of our jobs is love

1 Peter 4:7-8
The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.

Look beyond the faults. And see the needs.

Speak life into one another
Believe everyone is uniquely, and gifted to make a difference
Build one another up
Encourage one another
Become meek

King David and Ahithophel

2 Samuel 16:23
Now in those days the advice Ahithophel gave was like that of one who inquires of God. That was how both David and Absalom regarded all of Ahithophel’s advice.

We’ve all been hurt.
We’ve all been broken.
We’ve all been cheated on.
We’ve all sinned.
We’ve all held anger that can become bitterness.

The question is, what will we do with the mistakes?

Will we stand unified
or
Will we let the mistake become our identity!!!
