Introduction
Today, we conclude our series, “Disrupted Desires.” This series has explored the nature of human desires in the presence of Jesus and how our expectations align with His divine purpose. The main theme is understanding that while we often confuse our needs with wants, God, in His infinite wisdom, knows what we truly need from an eternal perspective. We are challenged to trust and submit to God’s desires, acknowledging that they are ultimately for our best.
During this series, we’ve touched on why pain and suffering exist, often through the lens of a theological discussion called “Theodicy.” We’ve been encouraged to see our role in the world as a spiritual army, equipped to shine light and offer hope amid struggle.

Conclusion

In doing so, we experience joy even amidst suffering—and learn to rely on God’s strength. This is our invitation: trust Him, strengthen your faith, and rejoice in the Lord. For believers, this world is a temporary space while we anticipate our ultimate home with God. For unbelievers, this is a chance to respond to God’s call and find salvation.
