FAREWELL GATHERING FOR THE MANRYS
Sunday, July 13, 10:00–10:30am | Emmanuel Life Center gym
Pastor Justin has accepted the call to be lead pastor of Cockeysville Baptist
Church in Cockeysville, Maryland, starting in August. Please join us between
services next Sunday in the ELC gym to celebrate him and his family as they
prepare to begin their new ministry opportunity. If you are able, please bring
a card of encouragement for the Manrys.

If you usually attend 9:00am worship, please plan to stay late (please pick
your children up from children’s ministry before coming to the gym). If you
attend 10:45am worship, please come early and join us in the gym,

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
July 14–18, 9:00am–12:00pm
VBS is just over one week away! We have more than 130 kids signed up and
have closed registration, which means we need your support more than ever!

Ways you can support VBS:

You can pray for all the children that will be on our church campus that
week, and for the volunteers working with them.
You can serve at VBS—scan the QR code to learn about all the available
opportunities and sign up to serve.
You can purchase a T-shirt for a participant for only $12. This will give
our kids a lasting memory of their week and a chance to start
conversations with their friends.
You can give online or with your offeringenvelope (indicate Vacation
Bible School as the designated fund).

POWER THRU PRAISE WORSHIP NIGHT
Friday, July 25, 7:00pm
All are welcome to a worship night with our Celebrate Recovery ministry!
We’ll worship through song, spoken word, and a brief message. You won’t
want to miss it! Free childcare is available—please register for childcare
using the QR code or the Emmanuel app.

MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS
We are offering several courses on mental health this summer and fall
in partnership with Celebrate Recovery and our mental health ministry.

Life’s Healing Choices: Freedom from Your Hurts, Hang-ups, and Habits
Tuesdays 6:30–8:00pm starting August 12 (8 weeks) | Emmanuel Life Center
We’ve all been hurt by other people, we’ve hurt ourselves, and we’ve hurt
others. And as a result, every single one of us ends up with some sort
ofhurt,hang-up, orhabit. But the question we all face is, where do we go
from here? Through this study, you’ll find real answers, real hope, and a
realfuture, one healing choice at a time.

Facing Anxiety
Wednesdays 6:30–8:00pm starting September 3 (4 weeks) | Emmanuel Life Center
Anxiety is inescapable in today’s world. When stress overpowers us and fear
infects our minds, it can feel like the peace the Bible talks about is impossible
to find. This four-session RightNow Media series explores how Christians can
face anxiety head-on. Facilitated by Ladonna Johnson, MS LCPC/LPC.

SERVE AT THE CAR SHOW
Saturday, September 13, 9:00am
Our 10 Annual Car Show is coming up quickly! This completely free
community event features cars, trucks, and motorcycles of every year, make,
and model. We’ll also have games and activities for kids, free food, prizes,
and a monster truck! Every year we have an amazing turnout and an
incredible opportunity to show our community that Jesus loves them.

We need you to help make this event a success! Please check

check out opportunities to serve.

MOMCO SUMMER MEETUPS
Wednesdays, 10:00am
All moms with kids age 0 to 18 (including expecting moms) are invited to
MomCo summer meetups! Your kids can enjoy a playdate while you get to
know other moms. Our summer meetups are on Wednesdays at 10:00am.
The locations for our next few meetups are:

July 9: Dunkirk Park
July 16: Breezy Point
July 23: Dunkirk Park

MomCo is all about moms encouraging and supporting each other as we
raise the next generation. If you’d like more info about summer meetups or
about joining MomCo in the fall, please get in touch at

children to serve as mentor moms!)
