Hosea 4:6 “…my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge…”

The enemy is NOT the opposite of God

The enemy’s territory is spiritual and hierarchal

Ephesians 6:12 “…our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”

The enemy is strategic and intentional

Ephesians 6:10-11 “…be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”

The enemy is:

“The accuser” “…the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, (Revelation 12:10)

“The god of this world” “…Satan, who is the god of this evil world (2 Corinthians 4:4)

“The father of lies” “When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” (John 8:44)

“The thief” “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy…” (John 10:10)

The enemy is also predictable and DEFEATED!

“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” (1 John 4:4)
