DWELL = yashab - means to marry…
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SOMEONE WHO IS MARRIED AND SOMEONE WHO IS JUST DATING is COMMITTMENT.
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SOMEONE STAYING MARRIED IS PURSUIT.

MARRYING means You are CHOOSING to share your everything with other person.
You design your life around them.

GOD IS SAYING YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE WHERE:
- your thoughts DWELL!
- your emotions DWELL!
- your words DWELL!

“ARE YOUR THOUGHTS, YOUR EMOTIONS AND YOUR WORDS MARRIED TO GOD?”
In PANIC MODE you can focus so much on what you can do, what you can figure out, what you can accomplish, what you cannot fulfill….
AT THIS POINT YOU STOP BEING MARRIED, COMMITTED TO GOD -
YOU BECOME COMMITTED TO FIGURING OUT A PLAN.
… INSTEAD OF LIVING LIFE TRUSTING IN A PERSON…

::WHEN EMERGENCY AN HAPPENS::
YOU HAVE TO LEARN THE DIFFERENCE ABOUT WHEN TO ACCEPT THE WAY IT IS - and face it.
OR
TO REJECT THE WAY IT IS - and change it.

MARRIAGE means:
YIELDING - no longer just about me… We yield to each other…
SEEKING - never stop pursuing her…that she never stops seeking how to help me.
COOPERATING - When there is no cooperation, the marriage fails.

PEOPLE COMPLAINING TO GOD ABOUT WHAT IS HAPPENING… YET:
Finances they do not go to God about how He wants to handle things…
FINANCES HAVE NOT BEEN MARRIED TO GOD - THEY DO NOT DWELL IN SECRET PLACE.
We do not show up to church except when everything falls into place perfectly.
LIFESTYLE ISN’T IN COVENANT WITH GOD - THEY DO NOT DWELL IN SECRET PLACE.
Did not open their Bible unless things were going wrong.
DECISIONS DON’T DWELL IN SECRET PLACE.
Would not pray daily.

A LIFE DESIGNED around YIELDING SEEKING AND COOPERATING in the secret place of the most High…

8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

James 1:8 - “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.”

WHY A “SECRET PLACE? IT’S A SECRET FROM THE ENEMY!
WHEN YOU ARE IN PRAYER ~ THE ENEMY IS BLINDED.

“Secret Place” = a military term. What makes a good “secret place”?
A place of CONCEALMENT AND VIGILANCE -

GOD SAYS - “I am going to hide you”… but you also need to open your eyes to the danger around you…

GOD helps us to not be BLIND to the attacks of the enemy.
Hebrews 12:6 - 7
6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

YOU NEED TO GO BACK TO THE CAVE FOR SPIRITUAL ALIGNMENT (David hid and prayed until he heard from God).

YOU WANT OPEN REWARDS… MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PRIVATE TIME…

SHALL ABIDE UNDER THE SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY…

ABIDE - Continue, lie all night, lodge.
SHADOWS are not the real thing, but they make us see reality.

Is a shadow good or bad? Depends on context…

PSALM 23:3-4
“He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”

THE ENEMY WANTS YOU TO ABIDE IN THE STRESS AND THE PANIC AND THE STRAIN OF THIS MOMENT WHERE IT FEELS LIKE DEATH IS STEALING, DESTROYING AND COMING AGAINST YOU.
HOWEVER, IT IS REALLY ONLY EVIDENCE THAT GOD HAS SOMETHING AHEAD OF YOU!

When you feel or think that EVERYTHING IS GOING DOWN, it can actually mean that GOD is TAKING YOU FORWARD!

DO NOT ABIDE IN THE VALLEY - ABIDE WITH THE SHEPHERD!

WITH YOUR WORDS YOU CAN UNDO WHAT YOU DID IN YOUR PRAYERS.

Are your lips speaking the POWER of your God or the PROBLEM of the world?

You will EAT the majority of what you SAY!

HE IS MY Refuge -
A refuge was a place to protect you from NATURAL CIRCUMSTANCES.
HE IS MY Fortress -
PROVIDES PROTECTION AND SUSTENANCE.
- river ways and water ways.
- beans, bullets and band-aids

PROVIDES SAFETY
- fortified walls
- high ways

GROW PEOPLE TO BE SENT OUT
- as your strategy expands

HE IS MY GOD, IN HIM WILL I TRUST!

THE NAMES OF GOD TELLS US WHO HE IS AND WHAT HE DOES.

Proverbs 18:10
The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

1. (verse 1) EL ELYON - THE MOST HIGH GOD. He is high above any name.
HE IS HIGHER THAN MY PROBLEM!

2. (verse 1) SHADAI - ALL MIGHTY (the mountain one) NOTHING IS MORE STRONG!
HE IS GREATER THAN THE MOUNTAINS!
HE IS STRONGER THAN MY ISSUE!

3. (verse 2) YAHWEH - eternal, ever existing, covenant keeping
ETERNAL, EVER EXISTING, COVENANT KEEPING GOD.
We have got a COVENENAT
We have got a CONNECTION
He is my REFUGE AND FORTRESS because He PROMISED AND IS ETERNAL AND EVER EXISTING IN HIS PROMISES!

4. (verse 2) ELOHIM - the speaking one
ELOHIM SPEAKS and it comes into existence.
HE SAYS LIGHT BE - and shadows change!

2 Corinthians 4:13
We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.

WHAT DOES GOD’S WORD SAY?
WHEN MY WORDS SPEAK WHAT GOD’S WORD SAYS - IT WILL COME TO PASS!

WHEN PANIC HAPPENS: 911

I WILL SEEK
- I have designed my life around God.
- GOD, TELL ME IF THERE IS SOMETHING I NEED TO CHANGE.

I WILL SEE
- I am going to pause and say “GOD, IS THERE SOMETHING YOU WANT ME TO SEE, TO LEARN, AS I ABIDE UNDER YOUR SHADOW?”

I WILL SAY THE NAME OF THE LORD!
- EL ELYON - GOD IS HIGHER!
- EL SHADAI - GOD IS STRONGER!
- YAHWEH - HE KEEPS HIS PROMISES - HE IS FAITHFUL!
- ELOHIM - I SPEAK IN AGREEMENT WITH HIM!

SICKNESS NO! God is higher, stronger, faithful and speaking!

STORMS NO! God is higher, stronger, faithful and speaking!

FINANCES NO! God is higher, stronger, faithful and speaking!

THIS IS CONTINGENT UPON THOSE WHO HAVE MADE THE DECISION TO DWELL IN THE SECRET PLACE AND ABIDE UNDER HIS SHADOW!

BELIEVE THAT THIS TIME IS GOING TO BE BREAKTHROUGH!
I SEEK
I STAY
I SAY
