Thoughts for the Week

It has become the standard practice in our society to call people who
are devout in their faith “radical.” It has become strange to trust God
instead of culture (Prov.3:5), or even dangerous to love God with
every part of your life (Deut.6:5; Matt.22:37). However, to have faith
in God means that you surrender all control of every part of your life
to Him. It is not your life anymore, rather it is Christ’s to control as He
wishes (Gal.2:20). One of the last questions we must ask is, “if this is
not my worldview, is my faith in God or is my faith in myself?”
