Since God is everything, we are to devote our lives to Him.

“My prayer is not for the world, but for those you have given me, because they belong to you. All who are mine belong to you, and you have given them to me, so they bring me glory.” —John 17:9-10 NLT

Devotion to Jesus calls for obedience.

For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. —John 3:16 NLT

Devotion to Jesus is a journey!

As a deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God. I thirst for God, the living God… —Psalm 42:1a NLT

O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you.
