Amalek Is Alive And Well

  1. Water from a smitten rock in a dry and thirsty land represents the

of eternal life thru Jesus Christ.

  2. speaks of God’s daily presence and the Holy Spirit.

  3. Immediately after God provided water from the rock, along came

    .

  4. The same principle is true, immediately after we receive

_ the rock, along comes Amalek!

  5. Amalek is a picture or “type” of our

_ which constantly tries to hinder our going forward into the promises of God.

  6. It’s

_ to break camp and move on to the Promised Land.

  7. Joshua was on the battlefield to confront Amalek, but the victory did NOT rest with

    .

  8. Victory over Amalek

be won because it can only be received from God through the channel of faith in Jesus Christ!

  9. God would say, “stop running

Amalek and run him, just as David did with Goliath!

  10. Many try to fight a spiritual battle in their flesh but they’re fighting a losing battle because they’re trying to win by their own

    .

  11. Trying to live ‘

’ in the flesh produces “self-conscious-righteousness which is full of “self-praise” making oneself an extravert who must always be noticed and applauded.

  12. When our attempt to be holy fails, we become an “

” or, someone filled with depression and self-pity!

  13. Satan doesn’t care if we are an extrovert or introvert because either one causes us to be preoccupied with

    and not God.

  14. If we’ve been trying not to obey Amalek in order to walk in the spirit, we are fighting a battle already

    !

  15. Walking in the Spirit means having an

that is totally dependent on Him, His strength, His provision, and rejoicing in the victory that Jesus has already won.

  16. Walking in the Spirit is not a

but the of enjoying the saving grace of Jesus Christ in our life!

  17. God will

    be at peace with Amalek!

  18. God is constantly at war from generation to generation with the “satanic principle” which drives us “

    from Christ!”

  19. The birthright was God’s promise to Abraham that through faith in his seed, Jesus Christ, all believers would be made righteous and

_ to behave as God had first intended when He created mankind.

  20. Esau had an “attitude of self-sufficiency” which is a “rebellious, self-reliant spirit” that we’ll call flesh in which God could do

    with.

  21. God loved Jacob,

for who or what he was, but for who and what He could make him to be.

  22. GOD LOVES US FOR WHAT HE CAN

    OF US!

There’s a new name written down in Heaven… AND IT’S MINE!!
