My Legacy of Leading Others to

• My

with Jesus

One day as Jesus was walking along the shore of the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers—Simon, also called Peter, and Andrew—throwing a net into the water, for they fished for a living. Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!” Matthew 4:18–19 NLT

If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 NLT

*For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. * Romans 10:13 NLT

• My

for the lost

But as he came closer to Jerusalem and saw the city ahead, he began to weep. “How I wish today that you of all people would understand the way to peace. But now it is too late, and peace is hidden from your eyes.” Luke 19:41–42 NLT

Dear brothers and sisters, the longing of my heart and my prayer to God is for the people of Israel to be saved… . For they don’t understand God’s way of making people right with himself. Refusing to accept God’s way, they cling to their own way of getting right with God by trying to keep the law. Romans 10:1, 3 NLT

• My

from Jesus

Jesus came and told his disciples … “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18–20 NLT

Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!” Matthew 4:19 NLT

When I arrived here the other day, I was fascinated with all the shrines I came across. And then I found one inscribed, to the god nobody knows. I’m here to introduce you to this God so you can worship intelligently. Acts 17:23 MSG

Then the woman left her water jar and went back to town. She said to the people, “Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did. Do you think he might be the Christ?” So the people left the town and went to see Jesus. John 4:28–30 NCV

• The

of my legacy

But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s victory parade. God uses us to spread his knowledge everywhere like a sweet-smelling perfume… . We are the smell of life that brings life. 2 Corinthians 2:14, 16 NCV

My faith connection with Jesus creates a compassion for the lost, driven by His commission for my life. This compels me to share Jesus with everyone I can, and in any way I can, so that many can enjoy salvation long after I’m gone.

Memory Verse

For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13 NLT
