- Deuteronomy is about remembering what’s most
Deuteronomy 1:6-7 “When we were at Mount Sinai, the Lord our God said to us, ‘You have stayed at this mountain long enough. It is time to break camp and move on. Go to the hill country of the Amorites and to all the neighboring regions – the Jordan Valley, the hill country, the western foothills…’

Deuteronomy 1:20-21 I said to you, ‘You have now reached the hill country of the Amorites that the Lord our God is giving us. Look! He has placed the land in front of you. Go and occupy it as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, has promised you. Don’t be afraid! Don’t be discouraged!’
Deuteronomy 1:26 “But you rebelled against the command of the Lord your God and refused to go in.”
Psalm 68:5-6 Father to the fatherless, defender of widows—
this is God, whose dwelling is holy. God places the lonely in families; He sets the prisoners free and gives them joy.
Luke 5:5-6 “Master,” Simon replied, “we worked hard all last night and didn’t catch a thing. But if You say so, I’ll let the nets down again.” And this time their nets were so full of fish they began to tear!

Luke 4:42-43 …The crowds searched everywhere for Him, and when they finally found Him, they begged Him not to leave them. But He replied, “I must preach the Good News of the Kingdom of God in other towns, too, because that is why I was sent.”
