In Psalm 103, written by David, we find four perspectives that encourage us to praise the Lord. David begins and ends using the expression “My soul”, this is inward dialogue, or godly self-talk. Our perspective is connected to the presence or absence of praise to God in our lives. When we have the right perspective and are thinking rightly about God it leads to gratitude and a person who is full of praise.
