
Prov 4:22-24 ESV
For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their[a] flesh.23 Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.
Our thoughts are driven by and developed by through our senses.
i. What we see.
ii. What we touch.
iii.Our experiences.
iv. What we hear.
Many people want a new life but want to see their life through the same lenses, listen to the same voices, and still have their experience be the thing that is still shaping you.
4 voices that shape us.
v. The Voice of culture.
vi. Our flesh.
vii. The voice of the devil.
viii. Gods voice
The Secret Life is a life shaped by God, where His voice becomes our lifestyle.
Psalm 91:1 NKJV
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
God does not give special revelation to special individuals, but revelation is available to those all that seek Him, to all who have learned to dwell with Him in this secret place.
What you hear in the secret place will sustain you in the public place.
*1-Say Yes to the invitation, and watch God do the miracles. *
Acts 10:2-4 ESV
2 a devout man who feared God with all his household, gave alms generously to the people, and prayed continually to God. 3 About the ninth hour of the day[a] he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God come in and say to him, “Cornelius.” 4 And he stared at him in terror and said, “What is it, Lord?” And he said to him, “Your prayers and your alms have ascended as a memorial before God.
All the power of heaven is unlocked on earth when we devote ourselves to the secret place of the Most High.
Acts 10:31 ESV
31 and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and your alms have been remembered before God.
This present world system is strategically designed to squeeze out your time and energy for the secret place.
The secret place is the main thing.
*2- Shut the Door. *
Matthew 6:5-6 ESV
“And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. 6 But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
Your Father is already in the secret place.
God rewards those who diligently seek Him.
Hebrews 11:6 ESV
And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
What’s done in secret will provide a life of blessing in public.
3- To see great things, we must get a different spiritual elevation.
Great things from God will come, but our current spiritual elevation is hindered.
