1 John 1:1-4

1. The

Word and the Word Are One.
a. Both are the . (Vs. 1, John 1:1-3)
John 1:1-3, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. All things were created through him, and apart from him not one thing was created that has been created.”
b. Both are . (Vs. 2, John 1:4a)
John 1:4a, “In him was life…”
1 John 5:20, “And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding so that we may know the true one. We are in the true one—that is, in his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.”
c. Both are . (Vs. 2-3, John 1:14-15)
John 1:14-15, “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. We observed his glory, the glory as the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. (John testified concerning him and exclaimed, “This was the one of whom I said, ‘The one coming after me ranks ahead of me, because he existed before me.’”)”

2. True Christian

Is Found Only in the (Person and Proclaimed). (Vs. 3-4, John 14:6, 1 Cor 15:1-5)
John 14:6, “Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
1 Corinthians 15:1-5, “Now I want to make clear for you, brothers and sisters, the gospel I preached to you, which you received, on which you have taken your stand and by which you are being saved, if you hold to the message I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. For I passed on to you as most important what I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the Twelve.”
