Introduction:

Are you On Mission? Every Christian is responsible for sharing the Gospel with those here, near, and far. Evangelism is not a spiritual gift; it is a command. The Gospel message is what Jesus told us to carry to all people groups of the world.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” —Acts 1:8

This collection is meant to challenge our lifestyle with the Gospel to break barriers and to see others come to Christ through our obedience. We must be On Mission, One Soul at a Time.

This collection will include:

August 3rd/6th On Mission: Keeping the End in Mind - Speaker, Pastor Gary Moritz
August 10th/13th On Mission: The Timothy Initiative - Guest Speaker, Dr. David Nelms
August 17th/20th On Mission: Ethnic Ministry - Guest Speaker, Dr. Mark Hearn
August 24th/27th On Mission: Church Planting - Guest Speaker, Pastor Sam Schwanke

Sam and Emmilee are thankful and excited to be here with us today! This past year they welcomed Judson (10 months old) into their lives and love being parents. God has directed their path to plant Gathering Place Church (GPC) in Framingham, MA. GPC has a mission to gather the MetroWest around the Gospel. Sam looks forward to bringing today’s Talk about being a Church On Mission.
