COMMITTEES
Ways & Means Committee
The Ways and Means committee works to insure that Mosaic has adequate funding to operate now and in the future years to come. The committee continues to look at better ways to support the financial obligations of the church including investigation of potential non-traditional income streams.
Buildings & Grounds Committee
The Building and Grounds Committee works to oversee:
Maintenance and security of the grounds, buildings, and all equipment, except for
office equipment, computer systems, and media/sound systems.
- Manage the church’s property and equipment in accordance with established
policies. Such policies could include when and how the building could be used for nonchurch activities and events. - Create and maintain inventories of church equipment.
- Analyze possible future needs and/or improvements to existing property and make
recommendations to the church body as appropriate.
Outreach & Ministry Committee
The outreach and minsitry committee works to:
- Engage the community through fellowship, outreach, and service events and to provide resources for church members to share in reaching out to their neighbors with God’s love and compassion.
- Support the discipleship ministries of the church and explore new ways to learn Jesus together.
Church Life & Hospitality
The Church Life & Hospitality Commitee works to:
- Oversee the working of all hospitality programs and visitor care ministries.
- Coordinate the activities that involve hospitality, care ministries, and connectional gatherings.
- Be alert to the needs of the church membership and ways to serve those needs.
Develop a mission and vision statement for your team, if that will help guide your ministry.
