MONTHLY FELLOWSHIP “LEFTOVERS” LUNCH: This month’s fellowship lunch is this Sunday, November 27th immediately following serice and since most fridges may still be stocked with leftovers from the big Thanksgiving dinner we have deemed this pot-blessing lunch as a “Leftovers Lunch”. So feel free to bring that left over stuffing, turkey leg, or veggie dish to share and enjoy some food fellowship with your church family!
CHRISTMAS CABARET: Our Christmas production and this year it will be a Christmas Cabaret on Saturday, December 10th at 6pm here at the church. A cabaret is simply a form of theatrical entertainment featuring music, song, dance, recitation, or drama and typically during a dinner. To fill all those items and make this a powerful community outreach we will need “all hands on deck”! So wether you sing, dance, play an instrument, act or cook there is something you can do to be involved especially praying for the event and inviting people to come! We have flyers available and you can share the event on your social media sites.
BLUE CHRISTMAS SERVICE: We will hoild a Blue Christmas Service on Wednesday, December 21st from 6-7pm here at the church. This service is recognizes that the Advent season is a time when we feel like we are only supposed to celebrate hope, love, joy and peace but, unfortunately, for some it can be a time that is full of depression and sadness. The “Blue Christmas” service offers a special recognition of the struggles people face and allows them a chance to acknowledge it in a safe place of rest, comfort, and healing. If you or someone you know is in this position please join or invite them to join this special time of hope and healing.
LIGHT UP NORTH KINGSTOWN: We will be participating in the NK Education Foundation’s Light Up NK. This program asks residents and businesses to decorate the outside of their property for Christmas from December 9th through December 23rd, then they provide maps and encourages the community to go around and check out each display and vote for their favorite. We have made great progress on plenty of lights in the shed and are looking for people to help decorate the outside of the building for this event so if you have time reach out to us at the church and we can help get you what you need to lend a hand.
WEEKLY PRAYER TIMES: If you are in need of prayer or if you have a desire to pray for others, LHCC has weekly prayer times when you can get together with church family to pray corporately. Feel free to join either of these times during the week to give and receive prayer with others!

Their safety and the safety of their family is always of concern as they work in parts of Africa that are very dangerous particularly for Christians.
