16 “See, it is I who created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame and forges a weapon fit for its work. And it is I who have created the destroyer to wreak havoc; 17 no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the Lord.

21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” 22 Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times. 23 “Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. 24 As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand bags of gold[h] was brought to him. 25 Since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the debt.

- OUR DEFENSE COMES FROM THE LORD. THEREFORE REVENGE, RETRIBUTION AND PAYBACK ARE NOT OUR RESPONSIBILITY. IT SHOULD NOT BE PART OF OUR LIFE.

II. THE CONTINUATION OF THE FREE FLOW OF GOD’S MERCY TOWARD US IS BASED UPON OUR WILLINGNESS TO EXPRESS THE FREE FLOW OF MERCY TOWARD OTHERS.
- OFFER FORGIVENESS TO THAT PERSON OR FORFEIT FORGIVENESS FROM GOD UNTIL YOU DO.
