James 1:19-21

1. God’s Righteousness Is Realized by Those:

a. Who

. (Vs. 19b, Prov 4:20)

Proverbs 4:20, “My son, pay attention to my words; listen closely to my sayings.”

b. Who Are

. (Vs. 19c, Prov 13:18)

Proverbs 13:18, “Poverty and disgrace come to those who ignore discipline, but the one who accepts correction will be honored.”

c. Who Are At

. (Vs. 19d-20, Rom 12:17-18)

Romans 12:17-18, “Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Give careful thought to do what is honorable in everyone’s eyes. If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.”

d. Who Strip off

. (Vs. 21a, Heb 12:1)

Hebrews 12:1-2, “Therefore, since we also have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every hindrance and the sin that so easily ensnares us.”

e. And Who Don

1 Thessalonians 2:13, “This is why we constantly thank God, because when you received the word of God that you heard from us, you welcomed it not as a human message, but as it truly is, the word of God, which also works effectively in you who believe.”

Hebrews 12:1-2, “Therefore, since we also have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every hindrance and the sin that so easily ensnares us. Let us run with endurance the race that lies before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith.”
