Nia Hunt is a nonprofit leader, community development advocate, and relationship strategist whose life and work are deeply rooted in purpose, service, and faith. As the youngest of five children, Nia was taught the core value of selflessness by her father, a principle that shaped her character and cultivated her spirit of compassion from a young age. Known for her wisdom beyond her years, she has always been drawn to creativity, innovation, and the power of looking toward the future with vision.

Her love for people and God fuels her relentless pursuit of purpose. A worshipper at heart, Nia recognizes the power of faith and perseverance as she builds, leads, and empowers others. She has exercised leadership in diverse settings, including small group teaching, youth ministry, workforce development, as a student leader on the Leadership Council at her alma mater, and in her profession as an executive assistant in the mental health field.

Professionally, Nia serves as and Executive Assistant at CFAR Counseling Center. In addition to holding the roles as Executive Administrator and Community Development Liaison at House of Glory Philadelphia, where she anchors the vision and mission of the organization. She oversees operations, donor engagement, event planning, and strategic outreach, spearheading initiatives like the annual Community Block Party/Backpack Giveaway, Community Thanksgiving, and the on going Food Pantry which all serve hundreds of families each year. Nia has also made a meaningful impact in higher education and workforce development, working as an Admissions Counselor at La Salle University, where she developed outreach strategies, built partnerships, and created the department’s first comprehensive training manual for new counselors. Her earlier work at PA CareerLink connected individuals to workforce opportunities, education, trainings, and critical community resources.

Nia holds both a Master’s in Nonprofit Leadership and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a minor in Leadership and Global Understanding from La Salle University. Her education, combined with her lived experiences, reflects a lifelong commitment to advancing equitable access, fostering community-driven change, and creating pathways for personal and professional growth.

Above all, Nia is most grateful for the “reset button” that God gives each day—another chance to walk in His calling. Her beginnings have shaped her now and are preparing her for what’s next: continuing to empower others, strengthen communities, and live out her purpose with faith, excellence, and selflessness.
