An Unshakable Kingdom

Hebrews 12:28-29 ESV “Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.”

Hebrews 12:22 ESV “But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels in festal gathering.”

1. We should be thankful because heaven will be a place of

   in the presence of God and all citizens of the heavenly kingdom will be in one accord singing praises and giving thanks to the One who died for our sins
   

Colossians 1:12-14 ESV “Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”

Hebrews 12:25 ESV “See that you do not refuse him who is speaking. For if they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape if we reject him who warns from heaven.”

1. God is offering us mercy and forgiveness in His Son Jesus Christ. He died to pay for our sins. To refuse His offer of mercy and forgiveness leads to
   Reveal Answer
   separation from God.
