1. Read 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
a. Pastor Chris described the love referenced in this passage as Agape Love or “Self-Sacrificial Love” how does this definition unlock this passage?

2. Read 1 John 4:7-8; 16
a. In John 1:1, we learn that Jesus is the Word, God Himself. In 1 John 4, we learn that “God is Love” and how this truth influences our relationship with one another, and God based on the 1 John passage.

3. Read John 6:26-40
a. In John 6:1-14 Jesus miraculously feeds 5000 men, not counting women and children. How does this miracle set up the crowd for what Jesus speaks in verses 26-40?

b. How can the church learn from, and apply, what Jesus has done in this miracle and the follow-up?

4. Read Matthew 23:13
a. How can what Jesus has said here to the scribes and Pharisees be considered loving?

5. Read Matthew 7:1-5
a. How is this passage misused? How can judging be more appropriately seen as loving?
