Harvest Blockers - Hosea 4:6

Rom 10:8-10… “word is near you… in your mouth and heart… believe with heart, resulting in righteousness… confess with the mouth, resulting in salvation…”
2Cor 4:13… “I believed; therefore I spoke… we also believe and therefore speak…”

proper ammo for proper enemy… how do you find ammo…

Prov 20:4… “lazy person does not plow… he’ll seek at harvest and have nothing…”
Jer 29:11-14… “you will find Me when you search for Me with all your heart…”

time for us to stop getting pushed around by defeated, unarmed enemy… use ammo and weapon God has given you and start living in victory and freedom… pray…

1Cor 15:57… “thanks be to God who gives us victory thru our Lord Jesus…”
Col 2:14-15… “disarmed spiritual rulers… shamed them by His victory on cross…”

1John 5:5… “who can win this battle… only those who believe Jesus is the Son…”

the Christian life is not without weeds… but we should not be harvesting same crop as the world… as children, we have supernatural inheritance… world does not…
John 16:33… “peace in Me… have many trials and sorrows… I have conquered…”
Rom 8:17-32… “if children, also heirs… co-heirs with Christ… freely given all…”
1Cor 2… “person without the Spirit… does not receive what comes from God…”
Gal 4:6-7… “because you are sons… cry Abba… God has made you an heir…”
Gal 6:7-9 MSG… “person who plants selfishness and ignores God harvests crop of weeds… one who plants in response to God…letting HS do the work… harvests a crop of real life…”

God wants harvest to be more than you can imagine… wants you to prosper…
Neh 2:20… “the God of heaven Himself will prosper us…”
Psa 35:27… “the Lord… has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant…”
Prov 28:25… “those who trust in the Lord will prosper…”
Jer 33… “be in awe… because of all the good and prosperity I will bring…”

John 10:10… “My purpose is to give you a rich and satisfying life…”
Acts 13:17… “God made the people prosper (very summit of opulence)…”

however… harvests can be blocked… ever heard of blight… plant disease causes rapid wilting and death; ruin, deteriorate, wither, decay, destroy or frustrate… several reasons why we see blight affecting our harvests…

Lack of Knowledge

lack of knowledge is also ignorance… can’t receive inheritance you know nothing about… Barron’s says there is over $100-billion in unclaimed US funds… most because people don’t know about it… pensions, rebates, wills, tax refunds, etc…
Hosea 4:6… “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…”
Matt 22:29… “your mistake is… you don’t know the word… or power of God…”
Eph 1:15-19… “pray you may know… inheritance… power to us who believe…”
Eph 3:16-20… “pray you may know… length, width, height, depth of God’s love…”
Eph 4:18… “excluded from life… because of their lack of knowledge…”
1John 4:7-21… “we have come to know and believe the love God has for us…”
Rom 5:17… “receive the overflow of grace and the gift of righteousness…”

Unbelief

unbelief is also called hardness of heart… harvests are blocked when we are ignorant of what God has given us… or when we know and don’t believe…
Hosea 4:6… “My people are destroyed by… rejected knowledge (unbelief)…”
Matt 13:58… “Jesus did not do many miracles because of their unbelief…”
Matt 17:14-23… “why could we not cast demon out… because of your unbelief…”
Mark 6:6; 16:14… “He was amazed at their unbelief… He rebuked their unbelief…”
Luke 24:13-35… “how foolish and slow you are to believe… things concerning Himself…”
Eph 4:18… “full of darkness… wander far from God… because of hard hearts…”
Heb 3:12-19… “beware an evil heart of unbelief… departing from God… encourage one another daily… don’t harden heart… couldn’t enter rest because of unbelief…”

in simplest form… unbelief is just disobedience to God’s word…
Heb 4:6-11 KJV… “to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief… labor to enter rest… lest any fall after the same example of unbelief…”
CSB… “those who received good news did not enter because of disobedience… make effort to enter rest… so no one will fall into same pattern of disobedience…”

Jesus wants to move us from natural to supernatural… operate in natural when we consider what we see… He calls that a hardened heart… unbelief stops anything supernatural from happening… get supernatural when we consider His word…
Matt 6:45-52… “boat in middle of sea… disciples in serious trouble struggling against wind and waves… Jesus came walking on water… He intended to go past them… when they saw Him, they cried in terror, thinking He was a ghost… take courage, I am here… He climbed into boat and wind stopped… they were amazed… they did not consider miracle of the loaves… they didn’t understand because their hearts were hardened (unbelief)…”

when we fix our eyes on Jesus… not the world… supernatural harvests happen… stay focused on Him… even if you fall… He’ll be right there to catch you…
Matt 14:29-30… “Peter walked on water toward Jesus… saw wind… started to sink…”
John 14:12… “one who believes in Me will do greater works than I do…”

when you know and believe the supernatural God has for you… never be satisfied with anything natural from this world… miracles happen when we believe… pray…
1Cor 1:26-31… “God chose what is foolish and weak… so we can boast in the Lord…”
Gal 3:5… “God works miracles… because you believe message you heard about Christ…”
Eph 3:20… “He is able to do exceedingly abundantly more than we ask or think…”
