In what ways does the Church follow along with the views of culture?

Read 2 Timothy 4:7-8. How does Paul, nearing the end of his life, describe what life was like?

What was Paul’s focus? Was he looking back or looking ahead?

Do you think Paul’s focus affected what he accomplished as he neared death? Why or why not?

In what ways do you think methods might need to change from your experience in order to deliver the gospel to the next generation?

How can you help to ensure this happens in our church?

Regardless of your age, how can you begin to practically prepare now to finish strong, finish well, and finish faithful?

Pray for those struggling currently with the issues of aging. Ask God to bring someone to mind who you can honor and value for their faithfulness.
