Seven Events Of The Cross
1. Crucifixion
John 19:17-18a / ESV, “So they took Jesus, 17 and he went out, bearing his own cross, to the place called The Place of a Skull, which in Aramaic is called Golgotha. 18 There they crucified him…”
Isaiah 53:5 / ESV, “He was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.”
2. Two Thieves
Luke 23:32-33 / ESV, Two others, who were criminals, were led away to be put to death with him. 33 And when they came to the place that is called The Skull, there they crucified him, and the criminals, one on his right and one on his left.”

5. Tearing of the Temple Veil
Matthew 27:50-51a / CSB, “And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up his spirit. 51 And behold, the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom…”
6. Earthquake
Matthew 27:51b / CSB, “And the earth shook, and the rocks were split.”
7. Resurrection of the dead
Matthew 27:52-53 / ESV, “The tombs also were opened. And many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised, 53 and coming out of the tombs after his resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many.”
