“Swinging a bat forcefully and accurately requires the coordination of virtually every muscle in your body. The biggest mistake of new hitters, or weak hitters, is an over reliance on arms.” University Dr of Kinesiology **

Ephesians 4:11-16 (NLT): Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do His work and build up the church, the body of Christ.

Ephesians 4:7 (NLT): However, He has given each one of us a special gift, through the generosity of Christ.

1 Peter 4:10 (NLT): Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

“The decline in church membership is primarily a function of the increasing number of Americans who express no religious preference. Over the past two decades, the percentage of Americans who do not identify with any religion has grown from 8% in 1998-2000 to 13% in 2008-2010 and 21% over the past three years.”

Ephesians 4:13 (NLT): This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.

Ephesians 4:14-15 (NLT): Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.

Ephesians 4:16 (NLT): He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.
