Cure for Worry

Luke 12:22-34

Does any of this sound familiar? “I am worried about who I will marry, where I will live, will I get sick, will I be happy in my life, or will my kids make wise choices in their life?” Jesus gave some helpful help for all of us about worry.

Caution
“That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life- whether you have enough food to eat or enough clothes to wear.” v22
Consideration
“Look at the ravens. They don’t plant or harvest…” v24a
“Look at the lilies and how they grow.” v27a
Comfort
“Your Father already knows your needs.” v30b
“So don’t be afraid, little flock.” v32a

Action Points:
Make a list of what is worrying you and present that to the Lord
Celebrate what is true about God
New approach to prayer
-I know you can help me
-I need your help
-Be specific
