The people in Corinth were having difficulty understanding the resurrection for believers. What was their major question? What metaphor does Paul give to help them understand the transformation that resurrection brings? What does it mean for our bodies to be raised imperishable? How does that bring hope to you?


Read Isaiah 65:17-25
What is the Lord promising in this passage? How does a New Heavens and New Earth effect our view of eternity? How does the Lord describe this new era? How does this picture of God’s Kingdom encourage us today? While we are waiting for the New Heavens and New Earth, how can we live in light of eternity today?
