Hebrews 4:12

Proverbs 4:20-22 NKJV
20 My son, be attentive to my words;
incline your ear to my sayings.
21 Let them not escape from your sight;
keep them within your heart.
22 For they are life to those who find them,
and healing to all their flesh.

18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
19 and am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

He is not longer “Give Me”
He’s now

20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

The Younger Son had:
1. An Immature heart
2. A Greedy heart
3. A Wandering heart
4. A Foolish heart
5. There was no submission in his heart
But
He had a Change of Heart

When he had a Change of Heart, he had a
1. Repentant heart
2. Convicted heart
3. Which brought him to the place of having
A Restored Heart

The Older Son had an:
1. Angry heart
2. A Resistant heart
3. A Legalistic heart
4. A Religious heart
5. An Accusing heart
6. And because his heart was tainted
He could not see the mercy of the Father that was extended to the Younger Son

The Father’s Heart:
1. He had an Observant heart
2. A Compassionate heart
3. A Passionate heart
4. He had a giving heart
5. A heart of Celebration
6. A Merry heart
7. A heart of Restoration
8. And he has a Revealing heart

A Revealing Heart:
The closer you get to the Father’s Heart, the more it helps to

your own heart
