Staying Focused in Unfocused Times
We want to continue our talk today about staying focused in unfocused times.
The best way to stay focused in the Last days is to remember what God said about HIS Son at the transfiguration when He stopped Peter from talking and He said put My Son first!
When we study the end of the World, we can look at Biblical prophesy
Revelation 19:10 NKJV
And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
1 Timothy 4:1 NKJV
Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,
Apostasy - means to
2 Timothy 3:1 NKJV
But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
2 Timothy 3:2 NKJV
For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2 Timothy 3:3 NKJV
unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,
2 Timothy 3:4 NKJV
traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
2 Timothy 3:5 NKJV
having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
