The root word is FOUNDATION( basic set of beliefs that are at the root of our faith)
People are shocked to find out that many of their core beliefs are wrong or twisted
That being said, a process of deconstruction has to happen, and simultaneously one of building back up has to start.
FOUNDATION- TRUTH
JESUS said : “ I am the THRUTH, the WAY and the
LIFE
We MUST return to a FOUNDATION that is entirely made out of blocks of TRUTH.
The foundation HAS to be built up out of blocks that are NOT ALTERED, NOT DISTORTED, NOT INCOMPLETE, BUT SOLID AND SHARP.

These are only a few of many wrongfully understood texts… And as a result we were taught distorted meanings of these passages.
BUT… there is a better way… AND WE WILL PURSUE IT

God’s society is much more complex than human society. It is perfectly ordered, and is conducted
In accordance with the Father’s Rules, by spiritual beings that have a free will.
It is a commandment to “Seek ye first THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS…”
Matt. 6:33
How can we do that if we are confused regarding the spiritual beings that administer THE KINGDOM OF OUR FATHER?
Although the Old and New Testaments have a lot to say about the spiritual beings that populate
the spiritual Kingdom of God, our understanding of these beings, became limited and simplified.
A MAJOR CAUSE IS –
A. TRANSLATION of the original texts
B. Lack of KNOWLEDGE about the author’s culture
A generally accepted view regarding the spiritual beings (setting aside God and Jesus) is :
- ANGELS - the good guys (they stuck with God)
- DEMONS - the bad guys that rebelled against God, together with their chief Satan. Before rebellion all were part of the good bunch.
A major consequence of this view is that the Body of Christ is NOT INSTRUCTED on HOW TO
WAGE SPIRITUAL WAREFARE. Ephesians 6:12
Note: the Biblical text DOES NOT SUPPORT this simplistic view of the spiritual beings.
ANGELS are very different from DEMONS.
We will study what the text tells us about ANGELS.
We will define and analyze the Spiritual beings in three aspects:
- NATURE (what the members of the heavenly hosts are or are like
- STATUS (hierarchical status in regard to all others)
- FUNCTION (what they do…, or their job description)
Terms that describe NATURE
1.“Spirit” (ruah; pl- ruahot) 1 Kings 22:19-22, 2 Chr 18:18-22
2.“Heavenly ones” (samayim) 400 times in OT – God’s supernatural hosts, divine beings
3.“Holy Ones” (gedosim) Ps. 89:5-7, Job 15-15, spirit beings in YHWH’s service
4.“gods”/”Divine Beings” (‘elohim) Ps 82:1,6. Ps 89:5-7
Although all spiritual beings are ’elohim, there is a strong distinction expressed clearly in the
Old Testament that there is only ONE YHWH (‘Elohim), who is Eternal, Supreme, Creator and
Sustainer of all there is. He is Unique, possesses unique qualities and all other ‘elohim worship
Him and exist because of Him.

- “council”. (sod). Ps 89:7, Job 15:8, Jer 23:18,22 Amos 3:7, 1 King 22:19-22

“prince” (sar) (bene ha ‘Elohim) Deut 32:8-9 Dan10:13,20

Terms that describe FUNCTION“Angel” (mal’ak; pl-mal’akim) – job description : messenger

- “Watcher” (ir: pl- irin) Dan 4:13, 17,23 (Aramaic)
- “Host” (saba: pl-saba’ot) “Mighty Ones” (gibborim, abbirim) serving in YHWH’s army
- “Cherubim” (kerubim), “seraphim” (seraphim) protectors of YHWH’s holiness
Exod 25:20, 37:9, Isa 6:2
We will call these spiritual beings that populate God’s spiritual Kingdom elohim or watchers.
They are : - spiritual, created beings with free will
- extremely powerful, and knowledgeable
- trans dimensional (they can insert themselves into our reality)
- submitted to YHWH (minus those who rebelled)
- very well organized
- they are (bene ha ‘Elohim) sons of the Most High, directly created by YHWH
In order to understand the difference between “Angels” (Watchers) and Demons, we need to
Understand the Hebrew religious thinking during the times of Jesus.
The fall and spiritual contamination of the human race was in great measure caused by a
segment of these spiritual sons of The Most High who decided to rebel and commit treason
against the Creator.
In future studies, we will analyze what they did, and what the consequences are.
