Introduction:

A New Year means new beginnings, and even though you desire to move forward, it can sometimes feel like you have fallen short of your goals and expectations. Whether it seems like life’s circumstances are piling up, your mind can’t get through a mental block, or your emotions are paralyzing you, you can pick yourself back up and move forward this year.


God can help you align your focus so that you can take your spiritual growth to the next level.

“The Lord helps all who fall; he raises up all who are oppressed.” —Psalm 145:14

Week 6 - Lifting the Vision

OUR VISION: To see New England transformed by making disciples and planting churches to multiply the kingdom of God.

OUR MISSION: To lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, resulting in MORE disciples and churches.

I. PEOPLE - MOBILIZATION

“Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. 19Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” —Matthew 28:18-20

3. Night of Prayer & Worship - Let’s prayer over our 2023 vision! February 19, 6:00 - 7:30pm
Join us on the City United Campus in the Chapel of building 1 for a special night of prayer and worship as we get ready to kick off a new year and pray over our God-given vision for 2023. Let’s kick off the new year worshiping our great God together!


4. Membership Sunday - I’m All In! - February 26, 2023
Membership Sunday is a time when we honor those who have taken their Next Steps and are ready to make City United Church their church home. We will be recognizing them at the end of our online and campus gatherings, and we will have a special time of prayer with them. If you would like more information on taking this next step, please email the church office.


5. Baptism Sunday - Let’s celebrate life change! - February 26, 10:30 - 11:30am
We will have baptisms during the 10:30 a.m. on-campus gathering. If you would like to sign up to be biblically baptized or if you have questions about what it means to be biblically baptized, visit www.cityunited.church/baptism.
