Yoked to Jesus

Key Point: A life spent yoked to Jesus naturally yields a unique rest.

Jesus leaves no one behind.

The context of rest:

1. Jesus’ rest is freely given, not earned.
   

2. Jesus is the only source of this rest.
   

3. A restful life is one that is bound to Jesus.
   

4. The rest that we receive depends on our level of submission.
   

5. Jesus’ rest is an eternal rest that is made present here.
   

6. Taking Jesus’ yoke may cause us to give up something.
   

Living yoked to Jesus:

1. Obey the commands of Jesus.
   

2. Establish a ritual of worship in your life.
   

3. Take a step of faith.
