What Do You Believe?

Romans 10:13-15 says:
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

“The fruit of a Christian is another Christian.”

At any cost, at any place, to any people! This should be our anthem as believers in Jesus Christ. We have been charged with the greatest commission, and blessed with the highest calling… to share the Gospel (good news) of God’s great salvation unto all the world.

IT IS THE GREATEST

Matthew 28:16-20 says:
Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Commission means to hire,

, , contract, authorize, or .

IT IS OUR GREATEST AND

The church has a responsibility to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Evangelism is not a

, it is an from the Lord. Most people view evangelism as something that someone else does with tracts or evangelism tools.

It is our Duty –

, , job, task
It is our Privilege – , ,

John 14:6 says:
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Acts 4:12 says:
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Let me ask you… has the privilege of sharing the Gospel become a burden more than a duty? It’s because you need a revival. You need a renewal in your heart that moves to your mind (yes, I said that the correct way). You need to pray about this great privileged duty we are commissioned to do.

IT IS UNTO OUR , , AND ALL

: The Church’s given responsibility to bring God’s love and the Gospel to all people through evangelism, education and ministry.

: The central component of the church’s mission, which involves telling others the gospel of salvation with the goal of leading them to repentance and faith in Christ.

IT IS THROUGH THE THAT LIVES ARE CHANGED

Have you ever given thought to how important your words are unto other people? There are two areas that we should consider when thinking of our words.

WE SHOULD CONSIDER THEIR

Proverbs 15:23 says:
A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth:
and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!

Proverbs 16:24 says:
Pleasant words are as an honeycomb,
sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

Proverbs 25:11 says:
A word fitly spoken
is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.

Hebrews 4:12 says:
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

WE SHOULD CONSIDER THEIR

To speak the truth of God, without showing or being the example of the Word of God is hypocrisy and damaging. There were believers who lived their lives as an example of the Word of God. Their desire was for the unbelievers of the world not only to hear their words, but also to see their lives.

Philippians 3:17 says:
Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.

Ecclesiastes 12:10 says:
The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth.
