• Have you ever been involved in Vacation Bible School (as a child or a volunteer)? What kind of impact did it make?
• Our weekly theme for VBS this year was “Stellar: Shine Jesus’ Light.” Review the daily Bible points that were covered, and read the verse for each one:
- When life feels dark…shine Jesus’ light!

- When people don’t get along…shine Jesus’ light! (Romans 12:16)
- When good things happen…shine Jesus’ light!

- When people are sad…shine Jesus’ light!

• How would you elaborate and explain each point? Would your explanation be different for an adult than a child? Why?
• What does it look like to “shine Jesus’ light” in each situation? Is doing so easy? Why or why not?
• How bright is your “Jesus light” right now? What is dimming it? What steps can you take to increase it?
• Why is it important to invest in the spiritual maturity of the next generation? Who are you investing in?

• Pray for the kids who attended VBS, both from our church and from our community. Ask God to help them love Jesus and look to Him as their Lord and Savior, shining His light!
