Praise in Our Prayer

The word “hallowed” means to render or pronounce holy, meaning, “Let thy name be celebrated, revered, and esteemed as holy everywhere, and receive from all people proper honor.” It is the expression of a wish or desire that the name of God, or that God himself, should be held everywhere in proper praise. —Albert Barnes

What do I have to praise God for?
1. I praise Him for Who He is.

El Shaddai – Lord God Almighty
El Elyon – The Most High God
Jehovah-Raah – The Lord My Shepherd
Jehovah-Rapha – The Lord That Heals
Jehovah-Shammah – The Lord Is There
Jehovah-Jireh – The Lord Will Provide
Jehovah-Shalom – The Lord is Peace

What do I have to praise God for?
